shinnigami's eye: allows the person to see other people's name and life span, however the human have to trade it with half of their remaining life.% |7 C$ x/ j1 u- e# f

when writing someone's name in the death note, one must know the person's FULL name and how he/she looks like, the writer must have the person in mind, to avoid someone with the same name to die.# s2 h: O+ @. C6 s" D
the person will die of a heart attack in 40 seconds after his/her name's written. The details of death can be written within the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds. If the cause of death is impossible, the person will die of a heart attack after 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

when a shinnigami falls in love with a human and protects he/she with his/her death note' Y/ A9 c3 F0 F
/ {6 P: L7 B/ b1 @7 ~Yagami Light, a regular high school student who's bored of the rotten world. One day he found a note book on the school grounds. The Death Note. After reading the rules of Death, Light thought it was just a futile prank. However since he was bored, he tried it out on a criminal. *Light got scared* The shinnigami, Ryuk appeared.3 E; Z7 V: I7 h) C
Light's goal is to create a new world that has NO criminals.# x' W6 W! y" h7 ?

Story:
f; l( Q2 w2 K$ I8 ?after Light killed many people, all across the world, people began to realize the existence of Kira (killer)(light). Some people started to send messeges to kira about who he should kill. crimes has decreased since then. However the national police force noticed too. that's where L (nick name: Ryuzaki real name: Lawliet) came in place. A world famous detective.

- y( z+ P9 K% |" R. iThen the battle between Light and L continues....and then the second Kira, Amane Misa a.k.a. Misa-Misa came in place, with her shinnigami: Rem.

then light offered to let L put he and misa in jail for about 50 days, so the suspection on them is lifted. Then he started to 'help' with the investigation3 w/ X& q) H! P! R S( B) d
" S) \& Z7 F6 @$ {$ k+ ]Afterwards L noticed Misa is the second kira, and light let L capture misa, however rem didn't want misa to die, so Rem used the deathnote and killed L, and rem died.5 i3 |1 @, \& {" [: f+ R6 Y) e

Light took over with the investigation as the second L, no progress was made in SIX years. Then NEAR(nate river) and MELO (michelle kehl) came in place. Near took over to investigate Kira in a orginization called the SPK, he's possitive that Light is Kira, however he does not have a solid proof.& n( g. R; P- m5 @/ V# Q
% o: k+ I1 U% Y/ U. j- x* H& ?then light gave his note to Mikami Teru, the X-Kira who's doing the killing, since he's like a kira fan and thinks like kira. He killed the current kira spokesman and choosed Takano Kiyomi (Light's university classmate) as the new spokesman.
+ Z- L$ C$ K; l' z5 E' d0 @
5 ^; d4 K) ^+ I5 M# B; `1 o* ZLight offered to talk to kiyomi and get infomation on x-kira. He had kiyomi make a fake call from 'kira' so the police force would remove the cameras and only install bugs (hearing device?)

+ a0 o/ y a- M; u3 s" ?Light and Kiyomi seems to have a regular conversation, but they are actually writing stuff....

Near decided to meat Light and an old factory......after he replaced Mikami's death note with a fake one. in order to kill everyone that stand in light's way, mikami used the death note and wrote everyone at the factory's name except for light. after 40 seconds, nothing happened. near took the note, and showed then everyone but light's name's on there./ z! v+ `" h$ m
! R! l0 E, Z: R. K2 wlight confessed he's kira. got shot my matsuda, mikami killed himself to make a destruction. Light escaped, but died from loss of blood.- [* x. c8 \ R7 \ j2 B: U8 c
% ~1 @# S& e) I2 ] \- q* b* i8 k( D*the manga ended differently, so did the movie*. n: o$ c. s( r, V% v- Y/ x' D8 f& L4 ^
) X/ d" f, v/ {$ o. i+ q9 v
Light asked Ryuk to write near and others' name on his death note, but instead ryuk got bored and wrote light's name.: h: e3 C1 Q/ e; }, I- G) H
