Any activities for a newcomer at age of 13?

My daughter just came from China, can only speak a little English. Want to find some activities for her to make new friends and at the same time to practice English. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

可以去华人社区问一下。我记得他们经常在暑假办活动。

到YMCA~就是和小小孩子一起活动~我父母也有这个打算~如果可以的话，我可以和她一起上~我也是13岁~非常希望在暑假里可以教一个新的朋友~~
