Say, there are 10% dirt poor people down there in the US, vs 3% in Canada. But that has nothing to do with you. The people that you deal with everyday are basically the same as in Canada. You still pay $20 for a pizza delivery. The black guy who deliver it to your door earns as much as a white guy, because the minimum wage is about the same. It's not like in P.R.China, where 80% of the population is dirt poor, people literally earn pennies for their labor. |
