SYSTEMS ANALYST 3

Alberta Health And Wellness , Edmonton - Our Information Technology Service Delivery team has openings for Support Analysts working directly with our business areas. As a Support Analyst you are involved in all phases of the application development cycle ranging from project definition, requirements development, implementation and on-going support of cross-government, departmental, and major business area IT initiatives. You ensure projects are delivered meeting department business and information technology goals, while ensuring corporate standards are met. You are responsible for project management and coordination enabling effective operations for the business areas you are supporting. You provide general IT support to the business areas by participating in business planning processes.
. A; e* r& u! n; ~( RAs a Support Analyst you have strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively explain technical systems issues to business users and management. You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills. To be successful you must build and maintain effective client relationships as well as understand fundamental project management and contract management practices.

Qualifications: A University Degree in Computing Sciences or related discipline plus considerable related experience.
