Responsibilities
6 S- M2 _7 o. k$ d■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
! U- F# A; K" F( S* n% j: g, w. S( O■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.: J% W- W( s% y9 j+ [* f
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships0 N: ^0 ~# A" W) Q
Experience and Education:
% F, }# y$ L0 i8 c■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
) l0 y" P& l9 d■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.3 h" V( K9 l8 ^' g. l7 X$ f
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
. X7 k( c# c( n$ @■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
% r- O. ~' @& k1 [# U" ^2 o% M■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;5 a" E* b- B% n( ?2 J9 P' B
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
% d" S' h5 a* S■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.' v) a/ w9 M6 s( K6 u2 ~
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
