朋友之前拿的是 安省G2 06年回国后就过期了，现在从中国来EDMONTON生活不知道他的驾照该如何办理 ？ 是用G2换初5 还是要重新考试？如果考试是考7号还是5号 还是都考?如果考需要排期吗？

These classes of licences are not renewable upon expiry. Approximately six months prior to the expiry date of the licence a Notice of Novice Driver's Licence Expiry will be mailed to the driver to the last address registered on the ministry's database. This notice will detail the level achieved, and what options the driver has to re-qualify or exit the graduated licensing system.
