EDMONTON - Two drivers were killed when their vehicles collided head-on east of Red Deer, Blackfalds RCMP said Friday.

Around 4:40 p.m. Thursday, a 1999 Buick Century was westbound on Highway 595, about 13 km east of Red Deer, when it veered into the eastbound lane, narrowly missing one vehicle that swerved out of the way. The Buick then collided with a 2005 Volvo XC70.

2 B, g' \' [; jBystanders rendered first aid, but the 49-year-old woman driving the Volvo and the 29-year-old man behind the wheel of the Buick both died on scene. A 22-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Buick was taken to Red Deer Regional Hospital and then flown to the Edmonton’s Royal Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

RCMP continue to investigate, and say it’s unclear if alcohol or distracted driving were contributing factors in the collision. Speed did not appear to have been a factor.

能证明的是，1：不管你开什么车，除非是装甲车，只要卷入了这样的交通事故，就没有安全的车，要想安全，就不要卷入: 2：速度确实不是事故的元凶，不管你开多慢，就算开50，如果两车迎头相撞，照样是没命，所以开100或是130，都是没有区别的，在德国高速公路不限速，也没听说德国人都死光了。

我是说，80公里的时速对撞，就都得死，那这两个我原来认为的安全的典型车也不过如此啊

德国车80对撞都得死，日本车50对撞都得死，关键是德国车在50对撞有可能不死，driver 在紧急情况下都本能地会减速的。这个case中，如果两个车中有一个日本车，那另外一个车驾驶员可能就活了。两个鸭蛋对磕都碎了，两个鸡蛋对磕也都碎了，鸡蛋鸭蛋都磕石头也都碎了，鸡蛋鸭蛋对磕，鸡蛋先碎，that is all.

那个车路上很少，耗油大，样子丑，毛病还不少，玩越野的都很少买。
