) P( M8 M/ w: x8 |6 o; \As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

4 S& L- O0 B$ l9 L: i6 O- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
2 I7 d! K- R4 ?7 s% a" X# k- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. / g0 l! Y+ K1 j9 S" E) U
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
- |4 s% D! C# u$ C- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
" i6 k* _) y, q1 {- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. $ H- @" ]- A2 n% B* [ Y( t
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). * v: p3 F. H# Z- {
- Managing shift expense budgets.

- Strong leadership skills
4 A$ Z' j ]3 y$ X& }# v. O- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
9 `' ]8 }& ~ @3 z! l! }* t- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills ! e1 @6 q7 n# \, R1 k
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
! V1 J! H" w8 T% ^ d5 f- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
