anything <1W will be second hand van... how long do you plan on using it? if short term, go with the american mini vans, but if you wan to use it for longer period, i'd recommend an import...

i've never been a fan of american vehicles, they run good when they are new, but once they get old, they have lots of problems that need fixing... lots of headache to maintain... which is why their resale value is very low...

" ]+ T2 w8 e- ^, w" ?man, seems you bearly have experiences on "using" cars.  All cars will have problems and need maintainess. I will tell ya that, domestic cars are tougher, usually have less "wried problems", easier to maintain, you can find parts every where and way way cheaper than imports, and in most of the cases, they are easier to repair. which means, your spending on car is way lower.

For buying used car, we all need some luck due to unkown conditions.

8 s2 z& t9 z- }7 ]Domestic cars are cheaper because of been domestic. In any countries, imports always expensive than domestic. If you want to buy an old style Jeep cherokee in japan, you will have to spend over 10K in us$, but that thing in canada is totally  a junk yard car.

I second that.  Less is more: less car in the market, more money you are going to pay when it comes to pricing and repair, which is why I decide to get American cars in North America, European cars in Europe and Japanese cars if I go to Japan.
