Recent college graduates have school loans, rent and other bills toworry about. Fortunately, many car makers have Graduate Rebate programsfor recent (or future) college graduates. While the exact eligibilityrequirements vary from program to program (some are only for recentcollege graduates, some include students within four months ofgraduation, and GM Canada's even includes high school students),car-shopping graduates should give consideration to the variousdiscounts and options available.

. j8 j' b" }. C6 LIt's also worth noting that a good number of programs extendto students who have graduated college within the last four years, soyou may be eligible for a discount despite being several years removedfrom your college days.

• Ford is offering $750 on New Vehicles and $500 on Certified Pre-owned Vehicles for anyone who's graduated in the last four years (or are about to graduate).

• GM Canada (whose lines include Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Hummer, Pontiac, Saab, and Saturn) will make the first two lease or financing payments forfull-time high school students, those who have graduated from high school in the last four years, part-time and full-time college students or students have graduated college in the last four years.

• From Honda: $500 - 750 for those who've graduated in the last four years (or will graduate in the next four months).

• Hyundai is offering $500 off a New Accent, Elantra, Tiburon, Sonata, or Tucson if you've graduatedin the last two years (or will graduate in the next four months).

• Kia is offering Canadians who have graduated from an accredited college inthe last two years (or will graduate in the next three months) a $500 allowance for the lease or purchase of a Kia vehicle.

• Mazda is Offering Up to $750 to recent graduates. The Mazda page is flash-based so we can't link directly to the information, but clicking on the "Graduate Program" tab on the upper left should take you there.

• Toyota's Graduate Rebate offer ranges from $500 to $1000, depending on the vehicle.

• Mitsubishi Canada is offering a $500 graduate rebate for "recent (and soon-to-be) grads."

• Subaru is Offering $750 off for recent grads purchasing a new vehicle.

• Volkswagen offers a $750 rebate on all new or certified pre-owned Volkswagens for Canadian graduates. This offer is not valid in Quebec.
