There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.
# W/ o9 P# H! m( ^Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.5 c9 ~+ a& j" g7 j X/ x, N/ h7 Z. S
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.5 |4 ?6 Q" G; C5 S( h

. U- L& |7 ~- y8 [The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
) ^2 [4 f6 P5 c8 o4 Q/ RGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.

There are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
