When you reach for a beauty or celebrity magazine from the shelf? are you momentarily stunned by the sheer perfection of the face portrayed on the front cover ?? It might be Catherine Zeta Jones or Cheryl Cole but often you can't help but stare momentarily looking for a flaw and there appears to be none. Perfect glistening eyes? and lips, superb white teeth, a lovely head of hair and not a blemish in sight or a wrinkle ton. You think to yourself “ how can anyone look that good?”

3 f. M+ c) c# P! F1 e( lWell of course the answer is that they probably don't look quite so good in ordinary everyday life. The pictures? in magazines are doctored in order to remove blemishes and wrinkles, and to subtly change eye colour or hair colour. An awful lot of enhancement takes place by photo manipulation.
# {' C" t2 p O& sEven in real life though a lot of celebrities do look good because they have the time and the money to make the very best of themselves. A? hairstyle, even a relatively simple one will not stay looking perfect without daily attention and weekly? trimming, colouring or preening. Expensive, well cut clothes make an awful lot of difference to a woman's appearance too, and this is not always appreciated by young mums who flop about in baggy jeans and sweaters all day.

If you want to look like a celebrity then you need to take heed of some of these factors and apply them to yourself as far as you can. You may not have a celebrity's money but if you have some of the motivation you can go a long way. Celebrities not only spend money on their appearance but they spend time and effort.? Some spend a considerable time and effort on physical exercise and activities to keep slim and attractive. You don't have to have a personal trainer to do this – just some willpower.

# L/ p m7 b8 }1 [# N* @1 J8 vA healthy diet is so essential to look good. You cannot eat a load of junk food and not expect to put on weight or get pimples. You should eat plenty of lean protein such as fish and chicken, and plenty of fruit and vegetables. Don't worry about fat in natural foods such as meat and nuts but avoid fat in processed foods as much as possible without being persuaded to consume the so-called “low fat” processed foods as these are high in carbohydrate often. Do not buy ready made or packaged foods or any foods that are high in refined carbohydrates such as white bread, biscuits, abercrombie jackets, cakes and soft drinks. Refined carbohydrates are probably the worst offenders with regard to putting on excess weight and should be avoided as much as possible. If you can keep below 1600 calories per day,ed hardy hoodies, drink plenty of water and get 8 hours sleep each night you are on the way to being healthy.

8 ~, [) J, {3 D x& E5 eNow,cheap nike shoes, it is very hard to find a celebrity who does not exercise or work out, because their appearance is so important for their career. Some, juicy tracksuit, like Mick Jagger, will run 7 miles per day. Some like Kelly Ripa favour vigorous yoga plus work-outs in the gym. Some like Jennifer Lopez prefer exercises such as swimming and cycling. Some, like Matthew McConaughey? have an all round active life style taking in swimming, wilson tennnis racket, rock climbing and running with a weighted vest on ! He will think nothing of dropping to the floor and doing 100 press ups ! I know – I'm in awe too !7 }2 s! L9 G1 I4 g
However you do not need to go to extremes, but you must do something. Take up some regular exercise such as jogging, swimming, tennis or squash and you will enjoy the exercise. Some small-weight lifting is also good to tone up the muscles if you can possibly add this in to your weekly routine.

( p5 {, y! v9 p- qYour hair can make a big difference to your appearance and probably the style is more important than the colour. A lot of women may think that just being blonde is more attractive without realising that the cut and the style is at least as important.. The style, cut and fringe? need to be appropiate for the shape of your face. If you consult your hairdresser about this he should be able to advise you.

Your make-up should also be complimentary to your skin and hair colour and may be another area where it's important to get professional advice. Just wearing the latest colour lipstick is not necessarily going to be right for you, especially if it's a strong colour and at odds with your skin tones.- Z% p4 ~9 i7 o4 K/ Z' z
6 h/ a) t7 I$ c: k/ U6 y1 x# iTo sum up we may all look better than we probably do if we take the time and trouble. As we get older it may be harder to keep up a good exercise regime but it is surely worth trying. The celebs will always have an advantage as looking good is part of their professional armoury and they have to spend the time and money. |
