Real world gas mileage post

Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb
7 q1 e8 e9 D7 w6 A7 b  LThe gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then
9 M1 d( b, n6 u& \2 yThe gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume)
' e5 \  S6 D( }$ A: t' uAfter convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG

6 m; N+ w/ n2 Z& N8 k2 BOfficial gas mileage is  MPG (City/Hwy) 4 cyl 24/33 v6 21/29

/ o' V% `) f% K1 x: q1 G, eConversion:
1 Litre =  0.264172 Gallon
3 u1 _' k" |+ V9 l6 a1 Km  =   0.62137 Mile
