YThe manager for the Camelot, told the New York Post he had received a cashier¡¯s check from Benin, a tiny African nation, for €5,500 Euros ($7,300) sent from a London bank.  It was addressed to Ryan & Dalia Rentals which appears to be one of the names used by the non-existent real estate companies.

The would be guests are often left with insufficient funds for additional New York accommodation, or on holiday weekends and busy periods are simply unable to secure alternate hotel rooms. Some, according to local reports, have been directed to homeless shelters.
