As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:3 q- t0 s) k3 d/ _
6 z+ h$ o$ J' X- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
5 G. C; i6 ` l/ A3 f( Q3 \- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
* O1 R9 a$ i# @& o- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.

- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 1 G+ c0 v) \! E+ ?; }2 n
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Experience and Education Requirements

- Previous supervisory experience
$ Y$ Q6 A. o; V! z- Strong leadership skills
3 l3 m5 m1 M: K# K% t- A minimum of grade 12 diploma E e) |0 v0 p9 @
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
' T) [' y# T/ e5 i- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations u- w) j" A& s
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
