分享收集到的信息——如何挑选钢琴老师

偶然的机会得到一个“Find a  teacher”网站， 可惜的是网站没及时更新，上面老师的信息少的可怜，后来打电话给Judith Ammann (Past President)， 一个很优雅的女人（没见面，仅从声音判断），她给了该网站负责这块信息的Lady的电邮，说只要把你的post code给她，她会帮你推荐： annettegeorge@shaw.ca， 她的名字就是annett   george。

Judith还热情地介绍了如何挑选老师，她建议要进行interview，并把孩子带到老师的studio，看孩子是否喜欢那儿的环境，再就是：

) S7 J; o, f' t7 P# ^  o2. if it's possible, talk to his/her students
$ E, z6 `# p7 q" v/ K2 ?4 @3. ask about agreement details, such as if the kid is sick, what do they do to make up the class
4. average fee range is $40~70/hour
5. the most important thing is ask for their credential, if they are registered piano teacher, they must be able to show you their degree credential, this degree is NOT their education degree, it is the credential of being a piano teacher, which means they must take GPEDAGOGY - subject of being a teacher,

% e0 d+ k, i5 z, K1 mwihtout the credential doesn't mean they are not qualified, it could be they have many years' teaching experiences, it's up to kids' parent's decision. no offence to any Chinese piano teachers here -  my comment

从我个人经验，一般老师都能符合上面几条。其实有比较才能发现“教学”水平高低。如果没有条件多比较，自己又对音乐不专业。不妨从老师给小孩谈的曲子做的标注上下手，每首曲子都有不同的艺术表现和处理手法。老师是否严格，负责和专业，教学笔记很能说明问题。

. P5 U4 c, ^  X* a6 R  \我女儿参加全国年度比赛，从市里选拔到省里，老师在她的曲子每页都写的密密麻麻的注意要点，几乎没有空白位子。Judges点评时和老师要求的几乎一致。

3 ]1 W3 i, ]0 o8 J9 K" g& p8 X, {搬到爱城后， 和一个（还算）知名的老教师学了几次，她水平不容怀疑，因为她儿子已经办过个人表演了。不过她从来没在我女儿曲子上写过字，教学水平我也实在不敢恭维。
