“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
0 c: u# o- I, k; RAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
' ~* T6 w: I9 U7 y# JThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.( i/ w3 b0 I) a) Y! x5 @
Key Responsibilities:
! P8 q$ T5 B+ G! t+ |3 k- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children4 I& k0 X0 z, d- l" y3 m0 K
