As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 9 x' F0 p- ^5 r+ n
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
4 ]1 w- |' n! i$ v# n- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 9 N- I) u* ~2 ^# G9 ]2 u
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 4 i# W l5 c- ]$ H
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
7 m7 E6 g3 ^9 J2 c% M. z- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 0 X& z* n( \0 k) H2 j6 j) u- O

Experience and Education Requirements2 G3 G2 `4 e" ~
$ L N: F- G s, n2 X! @4 m- Previous supervisory experience ; g3 s2 v( a) |, A/ d/ U1 X
- Strong leadership skills ' @& D i6 `, p
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 2 V: l, l/ {* E- J( m s6 Z/ v2 I
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
: d& b$ g: R7 ~2 \% _- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
: F4 }( W0 h4 G& ], r+ T- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
